The reality is, the online launch landscape has transformed dramatically over the past two years, and while we could have pivoted The Launch Guild in numerous directions, my heart was pulling me toward a different path entirely.

It’s been a while since I spoke about my signature process called the Me to We Framework, which is the foundation of my 1:1 and group coaching program for online agency owners, The Agency Thrivemind. This 6-step framework was created to take you from being a solopreneur to being able to fully embrace the CEO role in your agency.
One of the keys to profitability in an agency is making money! Seems kind of obvious, right? But obvious doesn’t mean easy or guaranteed. It takes work and it requires intentionality. In order to make money, you need clients. And in order to get clients, you need a steady stream of leads.
In this episode I talk about how to diversify your revenue streams as a service based business, whether you are a solopreneur or an agency owner, and offer insight into some options you might be able to explore such as affiliate marketing, online courses, workshops, or creating digital products.
Are you struggling with the sustainability and profitability of your agency? Learn what it means to have an agency that offers you “deeper” support rather than “wider” support and if potentially shifting into a “micro agency” could make sense for you!
In this episode I talk about 4 key areas of profitability to focus on, visibility and collaboration, and diversifying the way clients can work with you. Let’s get ready for an amazing 2024!
Something that I see a lot of from the women inside of Agency Thrivemind is the fear around being disconnected from your team and your clients as the CEO of your agency, so I’m giving you some tips on how to stay connected despite working behind the scenes!
In this episode I'm giving you five numbers that you need to stay on top of in your agency, and how to do it in a way that’s easy and makes sense!
We are kicking off this series by talking about crafting a reimagined vision for your agency. I've noticed that a lot of us agency owners are falling into a cycle of feeling overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid, when the whole reason we started an agency in the first place was to avoid exactly that!! If this sounds like you, then you are in the right place. In this episode I give you 5 steps to pull yourself out of the cycle and closer to that reimagined vision of what it is you really want.

After suffering severe burnout herself, Hunter knows it’s more important than ever to tune into your body’s signals of when to take a step back versus when to lean in through the ‘scaries’ and take the right next step in your business.
I’ve worn lots of hats as a launch manager, founder of a launch management agency, creator of a launch manager certification program, and business owner who has launched her own products and programs. Season 7
When a client hires you to fulfill a role for a service they need and brings you on to their team, it can sometimes feel like you are the “new kid on the block” trying to fit in. You don’t want to step on any toes, you want the relationship to be cohesive and function seamlessly, while at the same time owning your expertise and way of doing things that you are bringing to the table. You want to feel like you are a part of the team and not an outsider, and you also want to gain their trust and leave them knowing they made the right decision bringing you in. Does that sound about right?!
Here's a hard reality, you're not going to get 100% of the roles you put yourself out there for! When a potential client reaches out to us or we fill out their hiring application and then DON'T get the job...ouch! That can sting! However, just because you didn’t get hired this time doesn’t mean you can’t improve for next time. There are plenty of ways to improve both your skillset and how you showcase your qualifications before your next discovery call or interview.
Experienced entrepreneurs and agency owners know that having systems within your business is one of the keys to success. And using the right technology within those systems makes your life a heck of a lot easier! Let’s be real, you don’t have time for glitchy and complicated tech. You need something that will get the job right, and done well. However, finding the right tech stack for you and your agency sometimes feels like you’re searching for a needle in a haystack.
This week I’m going to be sharing eight of my favorite tech websites and tools that I use every single day in my agency. That way you don’t have to make the same mistakes and fall into the same researching black holes that I did when I was looking for the perfect tools to use for my business.

I want to share five tips l use to mentally prepare myself, and my team, for the new year.

Networking on its own can be daunting, but networking as a new business owner while quarantining??? That’s a whole ‘nother ball game.
That said, your community is going to be a huge part of your business. And since you’re a part of our community, we’re going to make sure we focus on what you are able to do. Whether it’s because of quarantine or otherwise, we're going to get you out there and into those (virtual) coffee chats!
In this week’s mini-coaching session, we spoke to Aldana Santarelli. Aldana is a legal translator turned virtual assistant and this week she asked, “How do I network more intentionally without traveling?”

The dynamic duo is back! Jayla Rae flew out to see me for a very important, and now quarterly, business planning meeting and we’re sharing how we plan for the future of our agency.
We found that meeting in person AT LEAST once a year has been a tremendous help when it comes to planning out our future. It can be hard to carry on a conversation about next year's revenue goals when we are answering pings in between Zoom calls and client commitments. And so, the In-Person Quarterly Meeting was born!
Today we’re going to talk about money. I know, it’s not a “polite conversation.” But we are women in business! We need to get paid for the amazing services we offer! To do that, we need to have a conversation about how we price our services and how we communicate that price with our clients. I know, it’s also scary, but it must be done.
Ok, so we all know it’s coming, but when it’s here it sucks and we need to deal with it. There is always going to be this icky in-between phase where you know you want to start a new chapter in your life but you don’t know how to get there. In business, this in-between phase often happens when you’re getting ready to level up. The uncomfortable ick phase is your inner voice telling you it’s time to move on and move up.
Are you the go-to helper person? Maybe the extensive researcher with all the answers? The one who knows exactly how to level up someone’s entire life if only they’d ask- because you’ve got a vision board and you are not afraid to use it? Believe it or not, you might already be infusing coaching techniques into how you’re already supporting your clients in your service-based business.
I caught up with Stephanie Donahue, an alumnus of Legendary Launch Manager Certification, who recently landed her dream job! Stephanie knew she wanted to niche down and grow her business. But after taking countless programs and earning certification after certification, her future dream client posted a listing requiring the one thing she felt the least confident in - launch management!
Maintaining boundaries seems like a hard thing to do, but over the years I’ve got it down to a system. And I’ll share this system with you in four easy steps.
In this week’s solo episode of How She Did That, I’ll be sharing the three main reasons my team and I needed boundaries and four steps we took to maintain those boundaries.
I am so excited to have Carrie Flynn back on the podcast as our first ever returning guest! Carrie helps super-busy and overwhelmed service based business owners and course creators strategize for maximum profit by increasing efficiency in their business systems, tools, and operations. She has completed a number of my programs, such as Booked and Balanced, and she is a current student inside of The Legendary Launch Manager Certification. She has had some major changes in her business since her last visit about a year ago, and I can’t wait for her to share her growth and her success stories with us in this episode. In other words, we are celebrating her wins today because I think her story is exactly what we need right about now to get us feeling inspired and motivated!
It’s time for another mini-coaching session on How She Did That! In today's mini-coaching session, Biana Smith asks our host Tasha Booth how to get more comfortable adding a team to your business, for her sake and the sake of her clients.
Most agency owners will say the hardest thing about owning an agency is going from a “me” to a “we.” Going from being a solopreneur to having a team is a whole different ball game, and sometimes your clients will question the change. While it’s scary when it happens, it totally fixable
Offering #Allthethings seems like a good idea at first, but it can actually hurt your agency in the long run. In this episode of the How She Did That podcast, Tasha Booth explains why finding your niche is crucial when you go from solopreneur to the CEO of an agency.
What does stepping into a CEO mindset mean to you? That’s the question we asked this week’s guest, Jasmin Haley. Jasmin is the CEO of a six-figure business and the host of three podcasts. And she dropped some major gems on this episode!
I’ve gotta let you in on this hard truth all business owners need to know- limiting beliefs will be the death of your company. Period. You cannot allow old habits to keep you from reaching your goals. And you shouldn’t let them! That limited version of you is not the “you”, you want to be. You want to be free to explore, free to be creative, and free to get paid more!
It’s time for another mini-coaching session on How She Did That! Today’s question was submitted by Tamsin Parry. A Business Strategist, Agency Owner, and OBM, Tamsin currently services as a mentor at Business Blueprint, Australia’s #1 Business Program, and is featured as an expert on the Bizversity Business Education app. She submitted her question after trying to go the agency route and having it not go as planned, (and who can relate to that, right?!). Even though she had the tools she needed to create such an amazing agency, there are some things that you just learn on the job. Asking questions like these are crucial to being a CEO, and by asking questions and getting the information you need, you will be able to become an even better leader and CEO. Keep asking questions- that’s the only way you’ll grow! Take a look at a few of the questions that Tamsin had and see if you have the same ones!
As mentioned in the previous episode, over the next few weeks we are going to be talking about all things agency related. This includes a series called, “So You Want To Build An Agency?” where I will be interviewing students from my program Agency Thrivemind to share their stories and experiences with their agency model businesses. Last week we covered what an agency model business is and what it isn’t. Now that you know the definition, you might be wondering if transforming your business into an agency is the right path for you. So, how do you make that decision? What are some things that you should know before taking the leap? Take a listen to this episode to find out my six ways to know if you are ready to start and grow your business into an agency!
Welcome to the introductory episode to a new series I am starting called, “So You Want To Build An Agency?” where I will be interviewing agency owners who have either completed or are current students of my program Agency Thrivemind!
I know that everyone has heard of the phrase, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” As cliche as it might sound, the meaning behind it is so important to be mindful of when developing your business, and it’s something that I really want to focus on in this episode. Starting your business is one thing, but over time as you grow and gain experience, things will start to change! You’ll realize new things about what you’re good at, what you enjoy doing, who you enjoy working with, and what your goals are. One thing you might come to discover is that you want your business to transition into an agency!
Welcome to the first “encore episode” of the How She Did That podcast! Last year I published the “Starting Now” series which included 4 episodes of useful information and advice for brand new and aspiring virtual assistants. We are going to be starting a brand new bonus series this month that features a few VA’s I know who are doing amazing things, but before we dive into that I wanted to bring back one of the episodes from “Starting Now” because it covers a very popular question that I don’t think gets addressed often enough, and that is how to know if being a VA will be right for you in the first place? I invite you to revisit this episode with me as I talk about four important things to ask yourself before embarking on the journey of becoming a virtual assistant!

Listen, we know this past year has been a lot. And that’s putting it lightly. While it’s so important for us to celebrate our highs, our successes, and our wins, what are some things that we can do to help us get through our lowest of lows, in life and in business? Because let’s face it, for entrepreneurs and online support pros like us those two things usually go hand in hand. I brought in my good friend Becca Reed, who is also a Trauma Therapist, to dive into this topic with us on today’s episode.
Welcome to our first mini-coaching session on How She Did That! In this episode, we are focusing on a question that is brought to us from admin pro, owner of KISS Virtual Services, and our good friend, Nakia Whittaker-Woody, who is also sitting down with us today to get her question answered!
Have you ever participated in a summit that really resonated with you? Or have you often wondered what exactly does it take to put a summit together? Maybe you’re new here and you’re still trying to figure out what a summit even is! That’s totally okay. We are answering all of these questions, addressing the misconceptions, and dropping some essential tips on what to know and what to avoid in today’s episode.
By this point, you know my Director of Operations, Jayla Rae, pretty well! She’s been on the podcast several times and every time has been awesome and so, I thought it would be fun to introduce you to another member of our leadership team, Lindsey Deatsch. Lindsey is our lead Launch Manager for the Launch Guild and she also manages all of my launches. She’s been with the team for almost a year and immediately was absolutely so amazing that we knew we wanted to keep her forever so, in November of this year, Lindsey because our 2nd full time employee and it’s still amazing to see the huge difference she’s made on the team in such a short period of time.
Can you believe The How She Did That Podcasts has been on the air for FIVE seasons and going on 3 years?! This season we will be introducing some exciting new things like mini-coaching episodes, a mini series on the different levels of growth, and more solo episodes with Tasha, like this one!
So to kick off the new season, I’m talking about how I chose my growth path. What does your growth path look like? How do you figure out what you want it to look like? How does it change from when you are first starting out to after you’ve been in business for a while? These are the questions we are answering in this episode and more. You will want to take notes!
Season 4
One question that a lot of us have asked ourselves at one time or another is, “How do I discover what my zone of genius is?” When it comes to our careers, how do we fall into that sweet spot of doing what we love to do, while also doing what we’re good at? You probably won’t be surprised to hear that the answer to this is not black or white. That’s because most of us are multidimensional, multi-passionate human beings! We have a wide variety of skill sets, and backgrounds in various fields. This is something to keep in mind as your business develops. It’s okay to change courses, but doing so can be intimidating, confusing, and overwhelming! There are many factors to consider when it comes to switching up your career path, which is why we invited AdeOla Fadumiye to discuss her experience with us on today’s episode!
We all know that success looks different to each individual. We all set different goals for ourselves, for our businesses, and for our lives. Some of us might only consider ourselves to be successful once we hit that six or seven figure mark, while others might start off striving for a more modest salary in order to live comfortably and still be able to save for the future. Maybe to some of us, success means being able to buy and own a house one day, being able to afford your dream car, or being able to support a big family. But the common denominator still comes down to how much money we have. It’s easy for us to get caught up in the measure of our success solely our financial situation. What if we took a step back, and focused on other areas where we are successful in life?
In today’s episode, we are joined by Sasha Belle Ruffin, a coach, online business manager, and strategist also known as the “Automation Queen”! If you are an entrepreneur or business owner who is tired of doing things manually, and you find yourself in constant need of reliable tools and systems in place so that you can save time AND simultaneously grow your business - Sasha is your girl! Wouldn’t it be nice to remove the pressure of having to be present in your business every day? Even business owners and CEOs deserve a break sometimes! With almost a decade of upper management experience behind her, Sasha started The Workflow Strategist & Co to do just that. Not only did she start her own business just two weeks after having a baby (WOW!), but she also prides herself on being able to automate just about any business out there. She helps women set up the right systems so that they can streamline their businesses and earn more by doing less!
Today we are talking about strategies that you can implement that lead to doubling your revenue. I know, sounds ideal right? Well, Shontaye Hawkins joins this episode, and she is speaking to us from personal experience! You might think it sounds crazy if we tell you to simply double your prices, right? But...what if that wasn’t so crazy?
Do you ever wonder why you see other businesses thriving and steadily increasing their revenue while yours feels stagnant? Do you find it impossible to grow your income without expanding your workload at the same time? In this episode, we are talking about how to overcome the internal obstacles that are holding you back from achieving your goals.
It’s probably no mystery to you that word-of-mouth is one of the most common ways that people grow their business! While there are so many job search platforms and social media groups that are great resources, never underestimate the power of a good old fashioned referral. Think about how referrals have impacted your own life. Have you ever been in need of a service, or an idea, or a product, and had someone who you trust make a recommendation?
In today’s episode we are talking about all things email related! Emails are such an essential part of your marketing strategy because it’s the most direct way for you to connect with your audience and it really gives you the opportunity to build an authentic relationship with those who are reading. Sure you can post on social media, but you never really know who’s looking at your content, and an even smaller percentage of those people are actually engaging with you! If you send an email, you know it’s going to pop into your subscriber’s inbox. But even that is only half the battle!
If you were able to pitch your business and gain exposure in the media to land more clients and create more visibility for yourself and what you do, would you be interested? If so, then today’s episode is for you! Public relations is something that we don’t really hear much about in the online virtual support business space, and we want to know why that is! If someone asked you to define what public relations is, would you be able to? Do you know what the benefits are of utilizing PR? It’s one of those things that we have all heard about and we know it exists, but we never really pinpoint why or when it’s necessary for your business or how exactly to implement public relations into your business! That’s why today we are learning why this is such an under-utilized marketing strategy, and here to teach us is none other than the fabulous PR Pro Christina Nicholson!
One of the most pivotal moments in your business is making the transition from seeking work from anyone who will pay you, to being in a position where your DREAM clients are actually coming to YOU! Can you say “goals”? Because it’s definitely one that most of us share! An important thing that we all must learn eventually is that we should never feel like we have to say yes to every single client who comes out of the woodworks.
Are you someone who dreads or avoids getting in front of the camera to create videos for your business? Maybe you struggle with finding the right words to say, feeling authentic, or perhaps you have no idea where to start when it comes to finding the right equipment to use. There are cameras, microphones, lights, editing software... the list goes on and the options never seem to end!
Although I’ve been in business for over 4 years now, my agency, The Launch Guild, is only 2 years old! How crazy is that? It feels like I’ve been growing this thing for much longer! When I first started my agency I felt a lot of overwhelm. I felt a lot of burnout. I felt that it was harder rather than easier and I definitely didn't understand why people were so into agency model businesses!
And what I grew to realize is that I was starting to build my business the wrong way. So this episode is my advice on what you should do instead. If you're thinking about an agency model business or already have an agency, consider this a must listen!
What do you think of when you hear the word “networking”? Do you picture yourself in a room full of professionals feeling nervous to approach one of them and make an introduction? Or does networking to you mean spending hours online researching, making comments on social media, and sending emails? Whether in person or online, we can all agree that networking is an absolute key part of finding and landing opportunities that lead to success.
Whether you are just starting out in your journey to entrepreneurship, or you’ve had years of experience, you have probably been told at one time or another that it’s important to “build your brand.” But do you know the reason behind why it is so important to not only build your brand authentically but to stick to it? Well, if you need a refresher, then you’ll definitely want to check out today’s episode. Your brand is something that you should live and breathe when it comes to your business, and therefore something you should really be in love with! I know - that sounds major, right? So how do you even get started?! Think about some of your favorite brands. What is it that you love about them? What draws you in and what makes you stay? Having an authentic brand that truly speaks to who you are is the first step towards building an authentic audience!
Today we are diving into one of the most intimidating factors about finding success as an entrepreneur… sales! How do you convince someone to spend their hard-earned money on your services? How do you ensure that what you have to offer is really worth your asking price? How do you make a sales pitch without coming across as too “sales-y”? Maybe you feel like there are so many superstars out there already and you just don’t know how to stand out. Or maybe the thought of building a loyal audience from the ground up seems overwhelming and you don’t know where to start. While these skills may seem to come naturally to some, most of us have to practice and practice until we find our footing and figure out what works for us. One important thing to remember is that you will never close ANY sales unless you TRY!
What does it mean to have financial freedom within your business? Is this something you have achieved? If it is, then you know exactly how powerful and important this milestone can be and why it’s so necessary for us as women to discuss! If you’re currently on the other end of the spectrum and financial freedom is something you are intimidated by or working towards, know that you are not alone and your feelings of frustration and confusion are totally relatable. If it was easy, everybody would be doing it! Luckily, there is a solution for those of you who may be feeling like it’s impossible to deal with what you just don’t understand. That is why today we are talking about all things money.
Today we are talking about digital products and why your business would be well served by offering one. It’s actually way less intimidating than it sounds! The term “digital product” covers a wide range of things. This could be an online course or program, an e-book, a “How To” webinar, or a number of other items. The good thing is that this is something you can explore and benefit from no matter WHAT type of service-based business you have. According to today’s guest, Gemma Bonham-Carter, digital products can help to grow, monetize, and scale your business while creating the income and the impact that you are meant for.
A “podcast visibility strategist” as she calls herself, Angie Trueblood joins us to discuss how you can use podcasts to grow your business and build meaningful relationships. She offers her insight to those who may feel like their particular niche or area of expertise is already so popular and therefore they have nothing “different” or unique to offer. This belief could not be further from the truth! There may be lots of people out there who do what you do, but there is only one YOU and nobody does what you do the way YOU do it. As Angie tells us, you don’t have to be solving the problems of the world, you just have to solve one particular thing for your ideal client.
Steph Taylor, founder of Steph Taylor Co. She is a digital product launch strategist who has helped entrepreneurs in launching their online courses, memberships, eBooks, you name it, she’s done it! She has seen so many of the most common (and uncommon!) launch mistakes in the process, and she knows exactly how to help you avoid them. In this episode, you will hear us discuss some of the launch nightmare stories that we have experienced, how we problem solved our way through it, and ultimately turned them into success stories.
In this episode, Sam shares her insight with us on why it’s never too late to start learning about how to legally protect yourself and your business at any stage, and why you should never feel ashamed or embarrassed for asking questions or reaching out for help. She also touches on why you should always ensure that you are taking your legal advice from actual legal professionals, and she helps us separate the facts from the myths!
Looking to be seen as an expert in what you do? Let’s start with getting your content on point! Knowing exactly how to communicate who you are, what you do, and who you serve AND be able to deliver value-packed content to your ideal client is a MUST in order to stand out from the rest. As a copywriter and content marker, Danielle Cevallos knows exactly how to do this and she’s going to guide us through the steps of creating content that not only converts but also enables us to establish authority in our niche.
Can you even imagine being able to market your Virtual Support Business that feels good? Brit Kolo believes that you can in fact do that; show up as who you and and how you best shine. In this episode, we’re talking about how to create a marketing plan that aligns with your Myers-Briggs personality type. I love how Brit puts it — “When you feel good, your audience feels good!” because too many times, we’re following the rules of “I should” instead of “I want to”. Brit walks us through how to break this cycle and show up authentically for both ourselves and for our ideal clients.
It's the premier of Season 4! Can you believe it?! I'm so excited to not only bring you more interviews with amazing women who will help you build your skillset as a Virtual Support Pro, but I'm also excited to dedicate a few more episodes to both solo content as well as mini-coaching sessions.

She has been an accountant for over twenty years. She is a CPA as well, but she doesn’t do tax work. Money is her thing!
Hiring in your virtual support business is usually a really scary step. We know that in order to scale our businesses and be able to step into our CEO power, we have to have help. But it’s also one of those things that are super scary because we often feel like nobody else can do it as well as we can. There are all these “what if” fears that come up with hiring… What if I hire the wrong person? What if they steal my clients? My guest today, Roshni Shaikh took this leap super early in her business and is here to talk all about that process.

My guest today, Kelsey Kerslake, is the CEO and Creative Director of Pine Gate Road, a branding and web design agency that does personal brands for experts, coaches, and thought leaders.
Earlier this season, we had someone come on and talk about burnout. You may be wondering why we are talking about it again, and that’s because I think it is under-talked about in the online space especially. It’s kind of a badge of honor to hustle and grind, which is not the way I like to run my business and neither does my guest today, Renee Reese of the Intuitive CEO. She is a business coach who helps people create successful businesses on their own terms, without the burnout and craziness of building an online business. I’m excited to talk about burnout again and to hear Renee’s perspective and advice on the subject.

She believes it starts with yourself and is about impact, what you’re offering, who you’re offering it to, and how you put it out there so that everyone can make a lot of money.
Language is a huge component of finding your ideal clients and repelling the wrong ones. Figuring out the right wording behind what our clients are looking for and mirroring that back to them helps us accomplish that. My guest today, Jacqueline Fisch, writes copy for other business owners and also teaches them to write for themselves. She is here to help us figure out our language.
One of the things that people forget is that the client experience doesn’t just start once they officially become a client, it starts from the very first time they get introduced to you. At The Launch Guild, we have done a huge amount of work on this year. My guest today, Erika Tebbens, is a Business Growth Strategist for female and gender-expansive entrepreneurs. She is here to talk about elevating the client experience and what that looks like.
Pricing and packaging your services as a Virtual Support Pro can be one of the toughest things to get right in your business. Are you priced too high? Are you priced too low? Should you price hourly or by scope of work? It’s a crazy long list of questions and it’s hard to nail down an answer because it’s all about doing what’s right for you, your business, and your personal situation. My guest today is Erica Quigley, the owner of Quigley Management Consulting. She is a Business Operations Consultant who helps scale high growth companies to increase their efficiency and profit margins.
In the world of Pinterest, Kate Ahl, is a rockstar, but what some might not realize is how large of a team she has curated at Simple Pin Media. She has a team of 40 people. A few months back, Kate hired The Launch Guild team to build and manage her membership, The Collective, and it’s been such an amazing experience to get an inside glimpse into the community and rockstar team culture that has been curated at Simple Pin. I asked Kate to come on the podcast today so we can talk #allthingsteam.

In addition to running the service-based portion of her business, she also helps other service-based businesses scale to 5-figure months, so that they can enjoy the same financial and life freedom that she has.
A lot of business growth in a short period of time is super fun, but kind of like riding a lion. It’s exciting, but you’re afraid it’s going to eat you at the same time. When it comes to a project management system, you need one that fits yours, your team’s, and your clients’ needs.
My guest today, Meridith McCarty of McCarty Virtual Services, built her business and team pretty quickly and found that she needed a robust project management system for both her team and her clients.
“Tax Strategy” ugh! Amy Bradbury is my friend and personal CFO. She is the CEO of Empowered Profits, a full-service accounting agency for entrepreneurs and online businesses.
Have you ever felt stuck in your business? Usually, periods of “stuckness” (yes, that’s a real word) happen right around the time we’re about to uplevel. Without even realizing it, we block ourselves from our business blessings and often make it so much harder than it needs to be.

Season 1
As service providers, we often spend so much time improving our clients’ businesses, that we forget to take care of our own. We get overwhelmed and are not sure where to start. I have a super special guest today...my husband! Scott and I have been married for almost 2 years now and together for almost 4. When I first started my online business, he was pretty foreign to the whole thing but, he's always been super supportive. I wanted to have him on the podcast today, firstly, because it's Valentines Day and #HandHearts, #Sweetness, but secondly, because I get asked pretty regularly questions about how my husband feels about my business and also advice for what to do when your spouse isn't too keen on your new entrepreneurial adventure.

Saprina is a tech WIZ (and Instagram Strategist) and is constantly reminding me to audit my systems every once in a while to make sure I’m only paying for what I actually need. And I’m so glad she does! Recently, I went through my tech systems spreadsheet and was able to eliminate almost $200 per month in unnecessary platforms! That’s almost $2400 per year!
We’re nearing the end of 2018 and I’m sure, for many of us, it feels like the whole world is in planning mode for 2019. But my suggestion would be that before you decide how many thousands of clients, millions of dollars or hundreds of multi-step projects you’re going to take on in 2019, you start by slowing down and reviewing this past year.
It’s well known the Online Business Management circles that, if you want to become a certified OBM, you go talk to Sarah Noked. That’s because, in addition to being a wealth of information, she’s only one of three certified Online Business Manager Trainers worldwide! I’m talking to Krystal Clark of Krystal Clark Creative. She’s a social media manager who did such an amazing job in her marketing and visibility strategy that she was booked out before she even officially launched! How amazing is that?!
When I first started my business, it was a nights and weekends only kinda thing. But it soon grew into something much bigger than I ever dreamed. Looking back on that season of my life, I'd definitely classify it as "busy". I know that one of the reasons why many of us became Online Service Providers is because getting to work from behind our computer screens in our fluffy slippers and athleisure wear every day is a pretty sweet deal. But sometimes it pays to get up, get dressed, and head out to live events- yah know, with real, LIVE people! And when I say "it pays", I mean figuratively and literally.

Frankly, it was overwhelming and, once it was done, I never looked at it again.
