When a client hires you to fulfill a role for a service they need and brings you on to their team, it can sometimes feel like you are the “new kid on the block” trying to fit in. You don’t want to step on any toes, you want the relationship to be cohesive and function seamlessly, while at the same time owning your expertise and way of doing things that you are bringing to the table. You want to feel like you are a part of the team and not an outsider, and you also want to gain their trust and leave them knowing they made the right decision bringing you in. Does that sound about right?!

Here's a hard reality, you're not going to get 100% of the roles you put yourself out there for! When a potential client reaches out to us or we fill out their hiring application and then DON'T get the job...ouch! That can sting! However, just because you didn’t get hired this time doesn’t mean you can’t improve for next time. There are plenty of ways to improve both your skillset and how you showcase your qualifications before your next discovery call or interview.
